This is not to be confused with the New York Times News website. Our responsibility was to set up the WordPress driven website using validated and secure plugins. The level of security this website needed was high due to the company being high profile.
I created a Technical Spec with budgetary expectations of the work’s cost. The client eventually moved to a retainer contract where we continued improving the site over time.

Along with leading the technical face of the New York Times Company website, my job was to also lead a second team on the development of the NYT internal website.
This site was directly for staff and to keep them informed of the direction and influence of the New York Times.
